Adult Dog Guarantee

Guarantee Update for 2011

 

“Trained Police Dogs Purchased”:     ALL DOGS PURCHASED OR DELIVERED AFTER     1-1-2011

All trained dogs are guaranteed to pass normal health examinations by your Veterinarian upon delivery. For fully trained dogs, we guarantee passing of certification (NAPWDA, NAPCH, or APCA) on completion of training course or free retraining of the dog.  We also guarantee our dogs work ability and health for 1 years from date of original pickup if you attend our school and a fully trained dog is purchased. (ANY injuries, injury related problems, poisonings, abuse, or neglect will NOT be covered under the guarantee in any case. Any one of these incidents voids all warranties and all guarantees on the dog and it becomes sole responsibility of the buyer)( Any and all shipping, Vet costs for shipping, airport trip charges, crates are not covered either direction and are responsibility of buyer). Any resale of a dog/s voids all warranties.

 

We cover hips & elbows (except for injuries while in your possession) for 1 yrs (1 yr on green/untrained dogs). Damage to teeth while in your possession during guarantee period is not covered and is Buyer’s responsibility to repair or cover cost of repair. Any broken teeth or broken bones voids ALL warranties on the dog as well and no returns will be accepted with broken or damaged teeth or broken bones under any circumstance.

 

If a replacement dog is given, the warranty/guarantee on that dog is to pass a basic health examination by the Buyer’s Vet with the first 7 days of possession.  There is NO warranty/guarantee will apply to the replacement. There is NO replacement of any replacement dogs for any reason after the 7 days for the initial health examination. The original dogs guarantee/warranty time will not exceed the 1 yr guarantee for any reason. Von der haus Gill reserves the right if we so choose to select the replacement dog to be given under the warranty.

 

Re-certifications for life of the dog when available the fee is $50.00 per team. All dues are responsibility of the handler/owner and must be paid before any certification testing. (Any fees the Evaluators charges for travel cost, and /or meals are not included in this and the handler/owner is responsibile for these costs)

 

“Green Dogs”(untrained police dogs):

If you do not attend our school, or a green dog is purchased then the dog has a 1 year work ability guarantee and 1 year health guarantee. We cover hips & elbows (except for injuries while in your possession, abuse or neglect caused issues) for 1 yr on green/untrained dogs). Damage to teeth or broken bones while in your possession during guarantee period is not covered and is Buyer responsibility to repair of cover cost of repair. This voids ALL warranties on the dog as well and no returns will be accepted with broken or damaged teeth under any circumstance. No replacments will be given under these circumstances.

 

NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN FOR ANY REASON, ONLY REPLACEMENTS. THIS IS A 1 TIME REPLACMENT ONLY!  NO REPLACMENTS ON REPLACEMENTS!  Von der haus Gill reserves the right if we so choose to select the replacement dog to be given under the warranty.

 

For guarantee purposes, possession starts from the first day of taking possession of the dog, be it prior to a school, day one of the school, or the pickup day of a green dog whatever the case may be.

 

If a replacement dog is given, the warranty/guarantee on that dog is to pass a basic health examination by the Buyer’s Vet with the first 7 days of possession.  There is NO warranty or guarantee on the replacment dog other than initial health(7 day) guarantee. 

 

The guarantee/ warranty on these dogs are a 1 time ONLY replacement warranty. There is NO replacement of a replacement dog under any circumstance!!
